Years ago, Izumo saved a child named Ryuta from a youkai. After promising to return and adventure with him in the future, Izumo leaves Ryuta and forgets about his promise. By chance, Ryuta meets Izumo again. Over the years, Ryuta never forgot about Izumo and trained hard to prepare for their adventures. Izumo claims to have no memory of his promise or Ryuta, but that doesn’t stop Ryuta from embarking on a journey with Izumo!
Il y a des années, Izumo a sauvé un enfant nommé Ryuta d'un youkai. Après avoir promis de revenir et de partir à l'aventure avec lui dans le futur, Izumo quitte Ryuta et oublie sa promesse. Izumo prétend n'avoir aucun souvenir de sa promesse ou de Ryuta, mais cela n'empêche pas Ryuta de se lancer dans un voyage avec Izumo !

A journey promised on a whim between two children comes to fruition, sparking both love and adventure.
As a child, Ryuuta was attacked by a yokai, and saved by Izumo, a young priest in training. Izumo was injured in the process. Ryuuta, wishing to one day make it up to him, vows that he will be prepared to protect him by the time they meet again. Fast forward to the present day, the boys meet again, this time Ryuuta will prove that he is worthy to be by his side.
Initially, I was brought in by the gorgeous art, and stayed due to the cuteness overload! I cannot get over how sweet this tale between an aloof, wandering priest, and a lovable idiot is. I think this series is grossly underrated for how enjoyable it was. I hope that through writing this review I can get its name out to even one person willing to give it a shot, you will not regret it!
