Iwamoto-senpai no Suisen
The 1910s. Iwamoto Kodo, a student at Suho Junior High School under direct command of the army, is investigating paranormal phenomena across the country as per military instruction. In a village rumoured to have "black snow," he meets a boy with special powers who believes them to be an illness; through Iwamoto's support, he realises they might have something in common and receives a recommendation to the school. Mysteries await Iwamoto at each place he visits–a romantic tale of this era begins to unravel!
Dans les années 1910, Iwamoto Kodo, élève au collège Suho sous les ordres directs de l'armée, enquête sur des phénomènes paranormaux à travers le pays, conformément aux consignes militaires. Dans un village réputé pour ses « neiges noires », il rencontre un garçon doté de pouvoirs extraordinaires qui les attribuent à une maladie. First episode is serious and dark, leaning towards a psychological thriller style of ghost story show. Pacing is rather slow. Despite referring to his place of education as a middle school, this is under the pre-surrender system, meaning he's either of high school age (2nd-4th year), or even first year prep/trade/university. Might be a boy's love anime?

There is a curious mystery being built here.
Shizuma can seemingly harm or heal others - so what is the story behind it?
It is an interseting premise they are building with his powers, and the idea that there are others with similar powers.
I think I will give this the 3 episode test and decide from there if I want to continue.

Bishounen. Very VERY bishounen. Like Black Torch, government secret organization which seems to be not so secret. It has the mystery of the week feel. Fan girls will find this very appealing.
