Doug

"I've never been really interested in megalomaniacs or mass murder, but this seems like a fresh approach. But not much scope for supporting characters or subplots yet."

humanbean

"kinda bent ... i like it."

"Everyone's wishes in their life that someone could die and to Hell without the consequences and Death Note makes it happen. And to cleanse the world of criminal scum, to have never worry for the safety of ourselves or our children; isn't that the ream of every thinking human being! An existence neither heaven or hell, is a small price to pay for being remembered as a saviour of humanity. Must buy."

Michael Eh?

"This manga, Death Note, is on every store order list. Yet when manga gets translated to TV screen, something goes horribly wrong. Not with Death Note. It's unbelievable that the producers could keep faithful to the book and keep the story and still be visually stunning. This anime will be on every store list as well."
