Kouya no Kotobuki Hikoutai

In a barren frontier where people trade goods with each other in order to help each other survive. The Kotobuki Squadron are bodyguards for hire, led by a strict but beautiful squadron leader, an unreliable commanding officer, and a true artisan of a crew chief. Alongside pilots who don't lack for personality, they take to the air in dogfights, letting the engine noise of their Hayabusa fighters ring out in the skies.

This was a fun little action anime. We get a small introduction to the characters and the world, then get straight to the action. The whole world has a strong steampunk vibe to it, but again, we don't see too much of it, most of the first episode is dogfighting.

The biggest point gainst this, in my mind, is that it is very obvious that this is rendered using CG, since the visual style has the same feeling as Kemono Friends did. Still, if you can look past that, this promises to be an interesting show.
