I'm probably gonna get lampooned for this but...
Umaru is *way* too much of a Mary Sue and the humour doesn't bite nearly hard enough nor hits close enough to home so this is basically an inferior fan pandering version of Watamote.

cute & funny, but the premise & running gags get tired fast.

To me, selfishness and petulance are two of the least interesting human characteristics. I would usually say the same about laziness, but the depiction of Himouto as sort of a demon goddess of hamsters was actually pretty cool -- just not enough to get me to watch more of this.
