After spending 300 years in Hell after a short life where he committed many murders, Tobe he has been given a chance at coming back to life: the Lady Emma presents him with a wooden sword, Togari, which eats Toga, or evil things that posses humans and cause them to do wrong. She tells Tobe that he has 108 days on Earth, and if he can get 108 Toga, he will be free from Hell.
