A young engineer named Derrida Yvain became famous thanks to his contribution to the development of the "Autonomous Machine DZ" at Rebuild, the manufacturing company founded by his father. One day, Derrida and his colleague Nathan discover a flaw in the DZs and try to warn their boss, but are ignored. Although Derrida and Nathan are aware of the danger, they reluctantly decide to put off taking any measures, and instead go to Nathan's daughter Mage's birthday party. The next day, after enjoying a peaceful day, Derrida and Nathan are suddenly attacked by unknown forces. At the end of the escape, Derrida falls into a cold sleep machine and 10 years later, he wakes up to a devastated world in the middle of a war. While Derrida is attacked by a group of out of control DZs, he almost gives up, but he recall's Nathan's last words.
"Take care of Mage."
Despite the harsh fate that has fallen upon him, Derrida sets off to seek Mage.

Un jeune ingénieur nommé Derrida Yvain est devenu célèbre grâce à sa contribution au développement de la "Machine autonome DZ" à Rebuild, la société de fabrication fondée par son père. Un jour, Derrida et son collègue Nathan découvrent une faille dans les DZ et tentent de prévenir leur patron, mais ils sont ignorés. Bien que Derrida et Nathan soient conscients du danger, ils décident à contrecœur de repousser toute mesure et se rendent plutôt à la fête d'anniversaire de la fille de Nathan, Mage. Le lendemain, après une journée paisible, Derrida et Nathan sont soudain attaqués par des forces inconnues. À la fin de la fuite, Derrida tombe dans une machine à sommeil froid et 10 ans plus tard, il se réveille dans un monde dévasté en pleine guerre. Alors que Derrida est attaqué par un groupe de DZ hors de contrôle, il abandonne presque, mais il se souvient des derniers mots de Nathan.
"Prenez soin de Mage."
Malgré le destin difficile qui s’est abattu sur lui, Derrida part à la recherche de Mage.
Au-delà du temps, nous nous réunissons - c'est l'histoire d'un voyage d'espoir.
