Yutaka Kanzaki, a wine critic whose reviews have enough clout to move the industry worldwide, has died, leaving behind a wine collection worth over two billion yen. Only the one who can name his favorite bottles, plus vintages, will inherit this dream of a cellar. It’s a battle between Yutaka’s biological son Shizuku and adopted child Issei to identify these “Twelve Apostles”. Along with the very best wine in his collection, the so-called “Drops of God.”

Doug

The characters are alright, and I'm sure that wine is quite fascinating to people who know it, but the twisted billionaire setting his heirs against each other put me right off of this; I'm not planning to watch more of it.

This was not my favourite premise for a drama, to start off.
Couple that with an animation style that looked very flat, and some fairly generic seeming backgrounds, and this one really did not resonate with me.
Maybe someone else will like it.

Romcom with wine tasting and inheritance as the central plot. Has a nice enough look to it, I suppose. The imagery used to evoke the various scents is colorful and imaginative, though perhaps a bit repetitive. The added musical chords are a nice touch. I like that the female sommelier (who'll will probably be the love interest) is on top of her game in her profession.

THis show lives to it's hype as being a masterpiece in any form it's presented. Some of the scenes were weird kalidoscope of imagery but how do you put into visual what is any other sense but sight.
