On the planet Gift there are precious crystals called Giftjium buried in the earth. A young man named Sougo Amagi lives in Garden Indigo, a prosperous mining town. Sougo, whose hobby is collecting rare crystals, one day becomes involved in a dispute between classmates Kaon, Roman and Otto. He wanders deep into the ruins of a mine and discovers an underground lake. There, he meets a mysterious girl named Felia with blue hair and red eyes. Who is this girl, and what will their meeting bring?

Could be good, but who can tell when the setting hasn't been developed, the military hasn't shown its colours yet, the Weird Girl hasn't woken up from her crystal nap, and there's no sign of the main villain or whatever conflict will characterise the upcoming episodes. I suppose curiousity might make me watch more, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

1st impression is a fairly conventional mecha anime. good production values tho'

Reminds me of so many other animes none of which come to mind. Still beautifully animated.
