When Sasaki can't find Yamada after a particularly trying day, a striking woman invites him to smoke with her. The despondent man thinks he's made a new smoking buddy in the cool, teasing Tayama, but Sasaki doesn't realize he already knows her!

À quarante-cinq ans, Sasaki, employé de bureau, n'en peut plus de la routine du monde de l'entreprise. Son seul réconfort ? La cigarette et le sourire amical de Yamada, caissier au supermarché. A very human slice of life show.

A collection of short stories focusing around a typical mid 40s worker drone (possibly at a black company)
It's kind of fun to see how oblivious he is to what was the most obvious left turn I have ever seen
All in all, this makes for a good "slice of life" for those looking for a slower paced show

Corporate drone finds a reason to go on living behind cash register #2, and something else (he thinks) behind the store. No angels or aliens or yokai, but he's still clueless.
