The creator of Azumanga and Nichijou has another amazing looking show. Wonderfully clean lines and cute faces. Background style reminds me of Richard Scarry's stuff, with a high knowledge of perspective-correct design. Humor is that vignette style with a liberal sprinkling non-sequiturs, like Nichijou. | |||

Midori is in a bit of a bind. She is in debt, and her landlady is trying to shake her down for unpaid rent. Her best friend refuses to loan her cash since she's wised up to her tricks. Maybe some bullying would help. Or a bit of petty theft? Neither is sustainable. Maybe getting a job would settle things... But working means less time for fun adventures in the big city...
Midori est dans une situation délicate. Elle est criblée de dettes et sa propriétaire essaie de la soutirer pour des loyers impayés. Sa meilleure amie refuse de lui prêter de l'argent, car elle a découvert ses ruses. Un peu d'intimidation pourrait peut-être l'aider. Ou un p'tit vol ? Ni l'un ni l'autre n'est tenable. Trouver un emploi arrangerait peut-être les choses… Mais travailler, c'est moins de temps pour des aventures amusantes en ville…
