Super no Ura de Yani Suu Futari
At age forty-five, office worker Sasaki has had enough of the corporate grind. His only solace is smoking and the friendly smile of supermarket cashier Yamada. When Sasaki can't find Yamada after a particularly trying day, a striking woman invites him to smoke with her. The despondent man thinks he's made a new smoking buddy in the cool, teasing Tayama, but Sasaki doesn't realize he already knows her!
À quarante-cinq ans, Sasaki, employé de bureau, n'en peut plus de la routine du monde de l'entreprise. Son seul réconfort ? La cigarette et le sourire amical de Yamada, caissier au supermarché. Une journée particulièrement éprouvante, Sasaki n'arrive pas à trouver Yamada, et une femme séduisante l'invite à fumer avec elle. Désabusé, il croit s'être fait une nouvelle compagne de fumeur en la personne de la charmante et taquine Tayama, mais il ignore qu'il la connaît déjà !

A very human slice of life show.

A collection of short stories focusing around a typical mid 40s worker drone (possibly at a black company)
It's kind of fun to see how oblivious he is to what was the most obvious left turn I have ever seen
All in all, this makes for a good "slice of life" for those looking for a slower paced show
