Nanana's Buried Treasure
The treasure of Nanana, a ghost who was once a beautiful but NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) girl. A boy named Jūgo was disowned by his father and forced to transfer to a high school on the "Special Student Zone," an artificial island. With only 40,000 yen (about US$500) a month to live on, Jūgo chooses a low-rent apartment that happens to be haunted by Nanana. Jūgo and members of the school's adventure club join a "treasure hunt royale" on the island for the Nanana Collection, a treasure that possesses a mysterious power.

I guess if you're got to live with a ghost, you might as well live with the fun kind of ghost. But the premise seems just a bit too overwrought (over written) to me.

As a sitcom, this falls flat, melodramatic and lack luster. Dusk Maiden of Amnesia seem to capture the mood and mystery as the group tries to uncover the reason of the dearly departed demise. This is simply a girl who can't give up the lifestyle of being a NEET even though she is dead. Sounds more like a line from One Piece's Brooks than a good plot. Still the eye candy of sterotypical characters adds charm. Hopefully there is more to this treasure hunting anime but not for me at this time.

interesting combination of ideas; highschool master detective, haunted dorm room, hidden magical treasure hunt & possible harem situation. kinda like it.
