Reviews

Kenneth

"A fairly faithful live action adaption with an adorable CGI puppet Luna."

humanbean

"i am incapable of giving this serious consideration."

Pulcherius

"100% pure wholesome cheese, wow I mean super cute but the fansub was funny too."

crazyleo

"OH MY GAWD!!! Live Action Sailor Moon! What would they think of next. Love the [spoofed] commericals."

UltraRob

"It's Sailor Moon and done as well as a live one could be done. A decent pilot for a good story."

MsJadey

"Uhm, interesting. I will be bragging to the grandkids abut this one. :D"

Nekoko

"Kyan! Ooh, that was just the cutest thing ever! Seriously, it's creeping up on [Tokyo] Mew Mew here. I must need to see more!" [Totemowaidesuyo!]

Pat

"That was SCARY!"

Michael Eh?

"Originally inteded to be live action, I still feel the animated version was the better route for the international market. It will be hard to convert this show compaired to the Power Rangers to prime time North American market. Instead of doing something more for the transformation of Sailormoon, it becomes a tired rehash of the old without any change of camera angles seen in animation version. Many live action sentai shows don't use clip transformations since their budget is alot higher than that of animation shows."

Club Notes

Year Reviewed: 2003
"The fansub on this episode deserves some credits inspite of the scorn it has recieved diehard fans. While clearly cutting up the commercial sections, they DID include them which for most part are never seen. Taking the slight liberty with subbing allowed the male members to enjoy the show without feeling being forced to watch a 'girl' show."
