Kurozuka
Escaping from a brother who had just ascended the throne, Yoshitsune, along with his servant, comes across a house in the middle of a desolate mountain. Oddly enough, only a young woman lives there, who seems to possess a very dark and ominous past.
It starts with out with Kurou meeting the beautiful women by the name of Kuromitsu, thus began a relationship which transcends life and memories. A journey of immortals and those who chase after it. The majority of this story takes place a few centuries into the future where Kurou is separated from Kuromitsu and without memories and he then searches for answers to who is and why he does not die and who was the women he is so transfixed upon.

All I have to say is this. Blood - because every anime character has at least 47 gallons of it in them. Otherwise not bad. Has a Hellsing feel to it, that and cross it with Kenshin style animation, you have a decent series.

Remember to donate to your local blood bank. Without your support, stuff like this would never see the light of day. And remember, no one ever suspects the butterfly!

A very dark show or it was the TV fault. Very interesting vampire meets monk. One only knows what will happen.

Very interesting story.

You know, every time I meet a smoking hot vampire babe who kicks butt, save me from crazed assassins and makes me immortal, I just can't help wondering in what's next? So yeah - I watch it again.

Pretty art and very violent, bloody, but the story is pretty confusing so far (as of 2nd episode). Seems like there gaps in the storyline - kinda reminds me of Bacanno's story telling style.

As for Kurozuka, awesome though the TV is dark but then Kurozuka is dark. Subject wise that is. Kurozuka didn't show well on our TV set. What I could see was awesome fight scenes. The nudity and sexuality was largely avoided or not included as was in the manga. They kept to the story which covered about first 3 chapters of the manga. In many ways, like DeathNote anime, they improved by making the storyline appear more coherent.
