In the eyes of the public, Fudou Aikawa and Desumi Magahara are sworn enemies who have nothing in common. Fudou, also known as “Red Gelato,” is the leader of the hero squadron “Gelato 5,” whose mission is to bring about world peace. On the other hand, Desumi is the minion leader of “Gecko,” a villainous organization seeking world domination. However, despite these differences, their relationship is not quite what it seems. When they are not making a show of being at each other’s throats, Desumi and Fudou continue to pursue a forbidden love.
Going on dates, baking sweets for one another, and meeting up as often as they can despite their hectic schedules, the two inexperienced lovebirds pave the way for their own unique relationship. Though their public lives are worlds apart, Fudou and Desumi will stop at nothing to make their seemingly impossible romance work.
Aux yeux du public, Fudou Aikawa et Desumi Magahara sont des ennemis jurés qui n'ont rien en commun. Fudou, également connu sous le nom de "Red Gelato", est le chef de l'escadron de héros "Gelato 5", dont la mission est de ramener la paix dans le monde. D'autre part, Desumi est le chef des sbires de "Gecko", une organisation vilaine cherchant à dominer le monde. Cependant, malgré ces différences, leur relation n'est pas tout à fait ce qu'elle semble être. Lorsqu'ils ne font pas semblant d'être à la gorge l'un de l'autre, Desumi et Fudou poursuivent un amour interdit.
En allant à des rendez-vous, en cuisinant des bonbons l'un pour l'autre et en se rencontrant aussi souvent qu'ils le peuvent malgré leurs horaires chargés, les deux tourtereaux inexpérimentés ouvrent la voie à leur propre relation unique. Bien que leurs vies publiques soient des mondes à part, Fudou et Desumi ne reculeront devant rien pour faire fonctionner leur romance apparemment impossible.

As parody shows, this is one of best but the trope turns cold with age. It is a show worth following.

This was fun. The idea of a parody of super sentai combined with a lighthearted romance is actually executed well here. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants a romantic comedy.

Surprisingly straightforward for the first episode of a romance anime. nMale protagonist doesn't waste any time beating around the bush, he confesses off the bat.
