No one knows Torako used to be a delinquent. All of her classmates only know her as the perfect student. But everything changes when Nokotan, a transfer student with antlers, enters her life. Antlers aren't the only thing strange about Nokotan. Her deer nose can sniff out Torako's secret past! Whether it's at school or the zoo, chaos follows this doe-eyed girl's every step. Torako has so many questions! Is Nokotan a deer, a girl, or something in-between?

Personne ne sait que Torako était un délinquant. Tous ses camarades de classe ne la connaissent que comme l’élève parfaite. Mais tout change lorsque Nokotan, une étudiante transférée avec des bois, entre dans sa vie. Les bois ne sont pas la seule chose étrange à propos de Nokotan. Son nez de cerf peut renifler le passé secret de Torako ! Que ce soit à l'école ou au zoo, le chaos accompagne chaque pas de cette fille aux yeux de biche. Torako a tellement de questions ! Nokotan est-il un cerf, une fille ou quelque chose entre les deux ?

For all the hype given this show, it's a bit of a let down. It breaks down the fourth wall more times than I can count. Not as crazy bat sh!t as I was expecting. No rhyme, no reason, no sense of direction.

An interesting mix of aho girl and seton academy. It makes for some very ... distinct comedy.
All in all, the pace is fairly fast, and the irreverent off the wall humour is a nice change of pace.
Its a nice, fast paced oddball comedy, good for when you need to turn your brain off and watch some slapstick.

Opening song is catchy as Hell. Wonderfully silly show in the tradition of Nichijou/Azumangah Daioh. Some absolutely great visual gags and writing.

This has to be one of the craziest slice of life animes, I've ever seen and I've seen a lot.

A cute slice of life type show, with anthropromorphic cats. The pace is very slow, there isnt much in the way of a plot, and we dont learn much about the characters from the first episode. So all in all, this is a bit of a fluff show, but its good for when you want to watch something chill.

Opens with a classic mistaken identity joke, where the young woman applying for a work position is believed to be a customer. Uses cg animation, but it's only noticeable in wide shots. The backgrounds are rendered, but are lacking in the usual extraneous items that make a place look lived in. Good comedic timing and writing.

Interesting anime but genie isn't my type. Reminds me of Live action Japanese gangster movie were the hitman has no moral conscious but follows a code.

Catchy opening track. One of those shows where the original mangaka/writer was into gun details; an effort was made to represent weapon parts and action accurately. Art is a more grounded, adult manga style; realistic hair style, color, and eye sizes. Writer has a good sense for dark comedy. Catchy closing track too.

Legendary hitman on vacation (or else) has the potential for some pretty good black comedy. The lead actor's lugubrious style is tailor-made for it as well.

Catchy opening track. One of those shows where the original mangaka/writer was into gun details; an effort was made to represent weapon parts and action accurately. Art is a more grounded, adult manga style; realistic hair style, color, and eye sizes. Writer has a good sense for dark comedy. Catchy closing track too.

Legendary hitman on vacation (or else) has the potential for some pretty good black comedy. The lead actor's lugubrious style is tailor-made for it as well.

Rud is a tank of the Hero's Party and is said to have the highest defense ever in history. The party often does labyrinth raids, but to Rud, it means more than just a raid. But one day, the arrogant hero kicks him from the party after an unsuccessful raid attempt, blaming it on his skills whose effects he is still unaware of. Without nowhere else to go and nothing to do, he decides to return to his hometown, where his sister is waiting. On his way there, he saves a girl who was being attacked by a monster. Unexpectedly, this girl has an extremely rare skill called "Appraisal". Thanks to her skill, Rud is able to discover the truth behind his unknown skills, which turn out to be very powerful skills. Interesting show in the fantasy creatures/magic world . Wil be adding to shows I need to finish.

Another underdog story. He gets kicked out of the heros party, only for them to discover he was the reason they did so well. The animation is okay, and the plot is serviceable enough. All in all, it is a fairly typical show among what we are getting these days, but it is another show that makes for a decent enough watch.

Another day, another fantasy world. Swords, magic, and everybody has a blessing that determines where their strengths lie. In some ways, there is the age old topic of predestiny versus free will in that. The show has some fairly solid animation and some decent character arcs. Well, this show was stupid. Maybe a fun stupid if you like irreverent comedies.
The pace is fairly slow, and the characters aren't exactly anything exciting.

Not since [[A Silent Voice]] have we seen such a quality of show. It seems the Japanese have a better time of bringing those with disabilities to light in shows like this and others. It's kind of pathetic that North American production can't give us this caliber of story in spite of playing lip service to do better.

This show was actually more fun than I expected it to be. The show has a normally fairly crisp animation style, which often switches to very rough animation at times helps highlight the humour.
The idea of bridging the gap between two different worlds as a way of getting to know each other is actually very well done. If you like romance stories, this is looking to be a good one.

This show is much more darker version of [[Kubo-san wa Mobu wo Yurusanai]]. I somehow think that Anna might have a darker edginess to her but it's not as apparent as the MC, Kyotaro Ichikawa. It will take more than the first episode to convince me if this is a keeper or not.

Another isekai focused on food. Personally, I didn't think much of it. The characters seemed fairly stock, the animation wasn't anything to write home about, and the plot is fairly simple.
I will say that the dubbed version has better audio than the subbed, which is a nice change of pace. Usually I prefer the japanese vocals - the english redubs are usually poorly scripted.
This time, the english dub is actually somewhat funny.
Watch the dub, skip the subbed - the english audio makes all the difference.

Okay, so there is a twist here - this time the MC is the weakest, not the strongest.
At the same time, he's cunning enough to manage to survive. So, we are following the underdog - kind of like how Arifureta started, before he just OP'd out. Hopefully, the same doesn't happen here.

It introduces a well crafted world setting thoughly while progressing the story well. The animation style is excellent but may put off some for not being 'toon'ish like other productions we used to. The characters aren't too likeable but then they a work a pathos and tragedy. How the two main characters interact is also questionable as they haven't met yet. Not bad but it will remain to seen how the other episodes pan out.

I don't know how I managed to miss this one, because it is brilliant. The lore of the world is intriguing, it has a gritty style, there is a fair amount of depth to characters and their relations, and I like the art style. I guess my only complaint is that I'm not exactly fond of the voice for the girl that serves as the protagonist. It's not a deal breaker, but the voice sounds a bit too "moe" for the theme of the setting. Definitely recommended.

Off beat and off the wall detective story. Odd couple with slight supernatural vibe. Interesting start.

Weird, offbeat detective procedural. Animation is a bit basic, but the backgrounds are nice, and the show is mostly conversation and exposition anyway. Looking it'll be a character redemption arc for a detective that always jedi mind tricks the suspects into killing themselves after deducing whodunnit.
